Chocolate Nut Pillows Recipe
Ingredients
| Semi-sweet chocolate | 1 6 Ounce | |
| Shortening | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Peanut butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Powdered sugar | 2 Tablespoon, sifted | |
| 3 cups presweetened shredded wheat biscuits | ||
| 1 1/2 cups finely chopped peanuts or flaked coconut | ||
Directions
In medium glass bowl place the chocolate and shortening.
Micro-cook, uncovered, till melted, about 2 1/2 minutes; stir after each minute.
Stir in peanut butter and sugar till smooth.
Halve wheat biscuits crosswise.
Using fork, dip biscuits in chocolate mixture; lift and draw off excess against rim of bowl.
Roll in nuts or coconut.
Dry on waxed paper.
