Low-Calorie Chocolate Mousse Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 tsp. plain gelatin | ||
| Cold water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 package low-calorie chocolate pudding mix | ||
| Egg whites | 3 | |
| Ice | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), shaved | |
Directions
Dissolve the gelatin in the cold water, then add the pudding mix, blending well.
Simmer the mixture slowly, stirring constantly until it thickens.
Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
Beat the egg whites until frothy and add the shaved ice slowly while beating.
Continue beating until the egg whites hold a peak.
Fold the egg whites gently into the pudding mix, combining well.
Spoon into sherbet glasses and chill.
