2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup (1/4 lb.) butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsifted regular all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sliced unblanched almonds

Directions
Melt chocolate and butter together over hot water.
In a bowl, beat together eggs and sugar until ivory-colored; add flour, nuts, and chocolate-butter mixture; stir until combined.
Pour the batter evenly into a greased and flour-dusted 9-inch-square pan.
Bake in a 350° oven for 25 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean; let cool in pan.
Spread Mint Cream evenly over chocolate layer; cover and chill until firm, about 1 hour.
Drizzle Chocolate Glaze over mint topping; cover and chill until firm; cut into bite-sized squares.
