 Rich shortcrust pastry - 6-8 oz
 Cocoa2 Ounce (For filling)
 Granulated Sugar4 Ounce (For filling)
 Salt1 Pinch (For filling)
 Cornflour2 Tablespoon (For filling)
 Flour1 (For filling)
 Milk1 Pint (For filling)
 Egg yolks2 , beaten (For filling)
 Butter1 Ounce (For filling)
 Vanilla essence4 Drop (For filling)
 Egg whites2 (For meringue)
 Cream of tartar1 Pinch (For meringue)
 Caster sugar4 Ounce (For meringue)

Directions

GETTING READY
1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

MAKING
2.Bake the pastry after lining it with flan ring.
3.In a saucepan, combine cocoa, sugar, salt, cornflour and flour.
4.Let the ingredients boil.
5.Keep stirring and cook for 1 more minute.
6.Put half the mixture prepared in egg yolks and mix well.
7.Transfer the egg yolk mixture back to the pan and cook again for a minute.
8.Add butter and vanilla essence to it.
9.Mix well and pour the mixture in prepared pastry.
10.Blend wgg whites and cream of tartar until light.
11.Slowly add sugar and continue blending.
12.Put the mixture on chocolate filling.
13.Bake for 8- 10 minutes.

SERVING
14.Serve cold with whipped cream.
