Chocolate Meringue Pie With Egg Whites Recipe

Mix butter to the flour with fingers for 10-12 minutes until it resembles bread crumbs.
Add egg to flour mixture and knead to a stiff dough with milk.
Roll out the dough to 1/2 cm thick pastry slightly bigger than the pie dish.
Put the pastry in the pie dish covering the sides also.
Make paste of corn flour and cocoa powder with little milk.
Heat milk and put the cocoa and conrflour paste in it.
Cook till thick.
Cool and add walnuts to the custard.
Pour custard over the pastry.
Bake in the oven at 220° for 20 minutes.
Reduce the heat to 180°C and cook for another 10 minutes.
Beat whites of eggs till stiff and peaks are formed.
Beat again by adding sugar a little at a time.
Pour this egg white over the chocolate layer.
Bake for 5-7 minutes till the meringue is slightly brown in colour.
Cool and serve.
