Unsweetened Chocolate Glaze Recipe

Chocolate Glaze is used to make delicious cakes. Chocolate Glaze gets its rich flavor from chocolate mixed with butter and powder sugar.

Ingredients

 
3 (l ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
 
3/4 cup sifted powdered sugar
 
1/4 cup hot water
 
1/2 cup frozen egg substitute, thawed
 
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened

Directions

Place chocolate in top of a double boiler; bring water to aboil.
Reduce heat to low; cook until chocolate melts.
Remove from heat; add sugar and water, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer until blended.
Gradually add egg substitute, and beat until mixture cools.
Add butter, one tablespoon at a time, beating until blended.
