 Milk chocolate square6
 1 bar (4 oz.) Semi-Sweet Chocolate
 Vanilla Ice Cream1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Liqueur3 Tablespoon
 Chilled fresh fruit: Strawberries, bananas, pineapple, pears, grapes, oranges.

Directions

Fondue may be prepared in a fondue pot, heavy saucepan or double boiler.
Break chocolate into small pieces.
Melt chocolate with ice cream and liqueur, stirring constantly for a smooth sauce.
Or microwave all ingredients on Medium 3-4 minutes, stirring 3 times.
Cool sauce slightly before serving.
If sauce is too hot, chocolate will run off fruit.
Makes about 1 cup sauce.
This dessert may be prepared in advance and kept warm in a double boiler.
At dessert time, serve a bowl of chocolate fondue surrounded by chilled fresh fruit.
Guests use forks to dip fruit.
Children may like to dip pretzels or large marshmallows.
Leftover fondue may be used for a sauce over ice cream; thin with milk or cream to desired consistency.
