Breadcrumb Chocolate Fondue Recipe
Ingredients
| Unsweetened chocolate | 4 Ounce, cut into pieces | |
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/2 cups fine soft bread crumbs | ||
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 6 egg yolks, slightly beaten | ||
| Vanilla extract | 6 Teaspoon | |
| Egg whites | 6 | |
Directions
1. Heat the chocolate and milk in a large heavy saucepan, stirring until chocolate melts. Remove from heat. Stir in the bread crumbs, butter, sugar, and salt. Blend into the slightly beaten egg yolks in a large bowl. Cool. Stir in vanilla extract.
2. Beat the egg whites until stiff, not dry, peaks are formed. Fold into the cooled chocolate mixture.
3. Turn into a greased (bottom only) 2-quart shallow baking dish. Set in a shallow baking pan with hot water.
4. Bake at 350°F about 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean.
