Chocolate Filled Pears Recipe
Ingredients
6 large pears
1/4 cup semisweet-chocolate pieces
2 tablespoons brandy
Directions
1. Prepare outdoor grill for barbecuing.
2. Meanwhile, cut each pear crosswise in half; set top halves aside. With small spoon, scoop out center from bottom halves of pears, leaving shell about 1/2 inch thick. Place chocolate pieces and brandy in bottom pear halves. Replace top halves of pears.
3. Wrap each pear in heavy-duty foil, being careful that seam of foil is folded several times to seal in juices. Place foil-wrapped pears upright, directly on low coals; cook 15 to 20 minutes, until pears are fork-tender.
