Chocolate Feather Cake Recipe

Chocolate Feather Cake are unique in taste and incomparable in texture. I often surprise and please my guests with this delicious and light Chocolate Feather Cake recipe. You just cant miss it!

Ingredients

 
1/4 cup butter
 
1/2 cup sugar
 
1 egg
 
1 oz. chocolate
 
7/8 cup cake flour
 
2 1/22 tsp. baking powder
 
1/4 tsp. salt
 
1/2 cup milk
 
3/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions

1. Cream fat and sugar
2. Add egg and beat well
3. Melt 1 oz. chocolate, then cool and beat in.
4. Sift flour before measuring, then resift with baking powder and salt.
5. Add the sifted ingredients to the batter in about 3 parts alternately with milk and vanilla.
6. Beat the batter smooth after each addition.
7. Bake the cake in a greased 8x8 inch pan in a moderate oven 350° for about 25 minutes.
8. This cake is too light to ice well. You may dust it with Confectioner's sugar and decorate it with nut meats.
