Chocolate Doodles Recipe
Ingredients
| Margarine | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Semi-sweet chocolate | 3 Ounce | |
| All purpose flour | 1 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Granulated Sugar | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1/3 cup granulated fructose | ||
| Eggs | 3 Small | |
| Vanilla extract | 2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Combine margarine and baking chocolate in the top of a double boiler.
Bring water to a boil, reduce heat to low, and heat until chocolate melts, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, sift together the flour and baking powder.
Remove double boiler from heat.
Beat in the sugar replacement, fructose, and eggs.
Add half of the flour mixture, and beat well.
Remove the top half of the double boiler.
Thoroughly stir in vanilla and remaining flour mixture.
Cover and chill for at least 2 hours.
Coat hands well with flour, and roll dough into 1 in. (2.5 cm) balls.
Place balls on very lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325°F (165°C) for 15 minutes.
Move to cooling racks.
