Desert Roses (Roses des Sables) - Chocolate Treats Recipe Video

Today, I am sharing with you a super easy recipe that, for sure, will be added to your favorites: the Desert Roses. These are chocolate treats made with chocolate and cornflakes, and look like the crystal rocks in the desert shaped like rose petals. I loved making these treats with my grandmother when I was a kid. Directions

MAKING
1. In a bowl, over double boiler, melt the chocolate stirring continuously.
2. Once the chocolate melts, add butter and stir until it melts and gets well incorporated and smooth.
3. Stir in the cornflakes, until they coat well with chocolate. Cornflakes should be just enough to make the balls crispy.
4. Using 2 spoons, drop about spoonful of chocolate mixture in paper cups.
5. Refrigerate it for about 1 hour or until the chocolate sets.

SERVING
6. Serve as desired.

TIPS
For every 9 oz of chocolate use 3 tablespoons of butter.
