 Walnuts1/2 Cup(16 tbs), chopped
 3 1 5/8-ounce bars chocolate-coatedm coconut candy bars, chilled and coarsely diced (about 1 cup)

Directions

Cream together shortening and sugars.
Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; beat till fluffy.
Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; blend into creamed mixture.
Stir in nuts; gently fold in candy.
Drop from tablespoon 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes. (Or, chill dough 30 minutes; roll into 1-inch balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet; bake 12 to 14 minutes.) Cool on racks.
