Chocolate Cream Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Milk | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, cut in small chunks | ||
| 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
Stir in milk and chocolate.
Stir constantly over low heat until thickened and bubbly.
Cook and stir 2 minutes more.
Remove from heat.
Stir a small amount of hot mixture into beaten egg yolks.
Add egg yolk mixture to remaining hot mixture in saucepan.
Cook and stir 2 minutes more.
Remove from heat.
Stir in butter or margarine and vanilla.
Pour into dessert dishes.
Chill.
