Directions

* Note that 1 300-g bag of chocolate chips coats about 3-4 cups of pretzels. Double the recipe for a larger batch.

Coat a large cookie sheet with wax paper.

Place chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl and melt on medium for about 4 minutes. Stir until smooth. Dip pretzels in chocolate using tongs. This can be the messy part but also the most fun! As you dip each pretzel into the chocolate be sure to coat entirely, and as you bring it up, gently shake off any excess to prevent drips.

Place each coated pretzel on cookie sheet, making sure to set them apart so they don't stick together.

You can make these extra pretty by drizzling some melted white chocolate over the pretzels, or try other flavours of chocolate.

Refrigerate until chocolate is firm, about 30 minutes. Remove pretzels carefully and place in a sealed container and store in a cool dry place or in fridge. You can also freeze them in an airtight container.

Enjoy! (And try not to eat them all at once..it's a challenge!). These look great in a decorative tin or in gift wrap cellophane tied with some ribbon for a birthday or hostess gift.
