Butterless Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup CRISCO® PURITAN® Oil
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Heat oven to 375°F.
Oil cookie sheets well.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Set aside.
Combine egg, water and vanilla.
Set aside.
Blend brown sugar and Crisco® Puritan® Oil in large bowl at low speed of electric mixer.
Add egg mixture.
Beat until smooth.
Add flour mixture in three parts at lowest speed.
Scrape bowl well after each addition.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 F for 7 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool on cookie sheets 1 minute.
Remove to wire racks.
