Chocolate Chip Cookies With Caster Sugar Recipe
Ingredients
| 75 g. / 3 oz. butter | ||
| 50 g. / 2 oz. castor sugar | ||
| 125 g. / 4 oz. self-raising flour, sifted | ||
| 50 g. / 2 oz. plain chocolate, cut into very small pieces, or chocolate dots | ||
Directions
Cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy.
Fold in the flour, then the chocolate pieces.
Roll the dough into small balls and put them, well spaced apart, on well-greased baking sheets.
Flatten the balls slightly.
Put into the oven preheated to moderate (180°C/350°F or Gas Mark 4) and bake for 15 minutes, or until lightly browned and firm to touch.
