 2 tablespoons light-colored corn syrup
 1 tablespoon cherry brandy

 Cherries2 Tablespoon, chopped

Directions

Combine first 3 ingredients in a small saucepan.
Gradually stir in milk, corn syrup, brandy, and vanilla.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 8 minutes or until thickened.
Remove from heat.
Stir in cherries.
