Directions
Cream butter with salt.
Gradually beat in part of the sugar.
Blend in chocolate.
Alternately add remaining sugar with milk until of spreading consistency, beating after each addition until smooth.
Blend in vanilla enough to cover tops and sides of two 8- or 9-inch layers or the top and sides of one 13 x 9-inch cake.
