2 cubes oleo
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, beaten
2 sq. semi-sweet chocolate, melted
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. chopped, peeled apple
Directions
Mix together the oleo and sugar.
Add beaten eggs, melted chocolate and boiling water.
Mix the dry ingredients together and add to the oleo mixture along with the chopped apples.
Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.
May be frosted but not necessary.
