Chocolate Almond Tea Bread Recipe
Ingredients
| Toasted almonds | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Flour | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 2 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 tsp almond flavoring | ||
| Whole wheat flour | 2 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 1-oz. square bitter chocolate, grated | ||
Directions
Blend together all ingredients until smooth.
Place in a well-buttered bread pan.
Bake at 325° for 50 to 55 minutes.
Let stand about 10 minutes before unmolding.
Cool before cutting.
