Choco Oatmeal Cake Recipe

Ingredients
1 1/4 cups boiling water
1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 4 ounce package sweet cooking chocolate, broken up
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup packed brown sugar
3 eggs
Caramel Nut Topping
Directions
In medium mixing bowl pour boiling water over oats; add butter and chocolate.
Let stand 20 minutes; stir till well combined.
In large mixing bowl thoroughly stir together flour, granulated sugar, soda, and salt.
Stir in brown sugar.
Add eggs and oat mixture.
Beat at low speed of electric mixer till thoroughly combined.
Scrape sides of bowl.
Turn into greased and floured 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
Bake at 350° till done, 35 to 40 minutes.
Spread Caramel Nut Topping over hot cake.
Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat till bubbly, about 1 minute.
