Chipped Beef Rarebit Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup grated cheese
1 cup shredded dried beef
3 cups canned or strained stewed tomatoes
2 teaspoons butter
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 beaten eggs
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions
Put cheese, beef, and tomatoes in saucepan; simmer until cheese is melted, stirring constantly.
Stir in butter and pepper.
Add eggs and Worcestershire sauce.
Heat quickly almost to boil; serve immediately on buttered toast.
