 2 2/3 cupsKellogg's Corn Flake or 2/3 cup Corn Flake Crumbs
 All purpose flour1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 1 cup soft butter or margarine
 Sugar1 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla flavoring
 Chocolate morsels1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Nuts1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped

Directions

1. If using Corn Flakes, crush into fine crumbs. Sift together flour and salt. Combine with Corn Flake Crumbs. Set aside.
2. Beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy; stir in vanilla. Add dry ingredients and chocolate morsels; mix well.
3. Press evenly into ungreased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with nuts.
4. Bake in moderate oven (375° F.) about 25 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool, and break into irregular pieces. Because cookies are extra buttery, drain on absorbent paper.
