Chinese Spring Rolls Fried In Oil Recipe
Ingredients
| Batter for 16 crepes | ||
| Vegetable oil for deep fat frying | ||
| Bean sprouts | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Pork | 6 Ounce, minced | |
| Onion | 1 Large, minced | |
| 1 can bamboo shoots, sliced thin | ||
| Soy sauce | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 egg white or 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 cup water | ||
Directions
Rinse bean sprouts in cold water; drain well.
Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil in pan and fry pork and onion for about 4 minutes.
Add bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, soy sauce and pepper.
Fry for 2 minutes while stirring.
Make crepes, frying on one side only.
Distribute the filling on the fried side of the crepes.
Fold in sides and roll up like small parcels.
Seal with egg white or with flour stirred in a small amount of water.
Deep fat fry in oil at 400°F until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve immediately with soy sauce and a large green salad.
