Chinese Noodles with Lobster Recipe

Chinese noodles with Lobster is a quick and easy to make dish with readily available ingredients. This dish does not have MSG and is made using simple chinese condiments.

Ingredients

 
Egg Noodles/Hakka Noodles - 1 packet
 
Lobster - 2 cups, cubed and cooked
 
Spring onions/scallions - 1/4rth cup finely chopped
 
Bell peppers (red, yellow, green - any) - 1/2cup chopped
 
Schezwan sauce - 4 tbs
 
Soy sauce - 2 tbs
 
Green chilli sauce - 1 tbs
 
Black pepper powder - a pinch

Directions

Bring to boil a large pot/vessel of water and add the noodles and cook according to instructions on the packet or boil until noodles reach desired texture.

Heat a wok. Add 2 tbs of olive oil. Stir fry chopped spring onions until they turn brownish. Keep aside.

Stir fry bell peppers until the sides become brown. Keep aside.

Add another 2 tbs of olive oil and add cooked and cubed lobster. Add 2 tbs of soy sauce, stir and remove.

Once the noodles have cooked, remove and drain in a mesh bowl. Add noodles to the wok, add all stir-fried ingredients (spring onions, bell peppers, lobster, sprinkle black pepper powder and add schezwan sauce. Mix thoroughly.

Serve Hot.

Friends in NE US tell me lobster 'chix" are running $2.98# WO wish they were even double that here-love lobster. This would be a great recipe if only lobster were affordable. Shanti/Mary-Anne
