Chinese Millet Casserole Recipe

This Chinese Millet Casserole tastes awesome! I tried this Casserole with noodles and it tasted divine ! Try out the Chinese Milllet casserole with any dish of your choice and tell me if you liked it !

Ingredients

 
1 pound ground sausage
 
1 large onion, chopped
 
1 small bunch celery and leaves, chopped
 
1 cup millet
 
2 indlvidual serving size envelopes chicken noodle soup
 
4 cups boiling water
 
4 ounces slivered almonds

Directions

Fry sausage over mediumhigh heat until browned.
Transfer to a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
Drain all but 2 to 3 tablespoons of fat from skillet.
Saute onion and celery.
Add millet, and brown lightly.
Pour vegetables and millet over sausage.
Combine soup and water in skillet.
Pour over meat, vegetables, and millet.
Stir to combine.
Sprinkle slivered almonds on top.
Bake in a 350° F. oven for 45 minutes.
