Directions

The night before you plan to serve them, mix ground beef, cabbage, onion, ginger, soy sauce, and salt in a large bowl.
When thoroughly mixed, form into balls.
Cover and set in the refrigerator.
(While this can be done when preparing the meal, the flavors blend more fully under refrigeration.) Heat shortening in cooker and brown the meatballs.
Add water and soy sauce and close cover securely.
Put pressure control in place.
When pressure is reached, cook for 5 minutes.
Cool at once under running water.
Serve meatballs with your favorite sweet-and-sour sauce or as is.
