Chinese Beef And Pea Pods Recipe
Ingredients
| Flank steak | 1 1/2 Pound, thinly sliced | |
| Cooking oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Green onions | 1 Bunch (100gm), chopped | |
| 1 or 2 pkgs. (7 oz. each) frozen Chinese pea pods, partially thawed to separate | ||
| Beef | 1 Can (10oz), condensed | |
| Soy sauce | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Cornstarch | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Brown meat in hot oil in a large heavy skillet.
Remove and keep warm.
Put the green onions and pea pods into skillet.
Stir in a mixture of consomme, soy sauce, and ginger.
Bring to boiling and cook, covered, about 2 minutes.
Mix a blend of cornstarch and water into boiling liquid in skillet.
Stirring constantly, boil 2 to 3 minutes.
Mix in the meat and bean sprouts; heat thoroughly.
