Chinese Sugared Walnuts Recipe
Ingredients
| Walnut halves | 1/2 pound | |
| Water | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Brown sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Oil | 3 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
Combine walnut halves, water, sugar and brown sugar in saucepan.
Cook over moderate heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Drain until dry.
Fry walnut halves in oil in deep saucepan for 8 minutes or until crisp.
Drain; cool.
