Chinese Style Vegetable Medley Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 small head green cabbage | ||
| Shortening | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1 cup thin diagonal slices celery | ||
| 1 medium green pepper, cut into thin diagonal slices | ||
| Onion | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Prepare 3 cups finely shredded cabbage .
Heat shortening in medium skillet.
Add vegetables and stir.
Cover; steam 5 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring several times.
Add salt and pepper.
If desired, stir in 1 tablespoon soy sauce.
