Chinese Style Rabbit Recipe
Ingredients
| Canola oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Rabbit pieces-2 pounds | ||
| Chicken stock | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Tomato Paste | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Low-sodium soy sauce-1 tablespoon | ||
| Honey | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ginger root | 1 Teaspoon, peeled | |
| Garlic | 4 Clove (5gm) | |
| Hot-pepper sauce-1 teaspoon | ||
| Rice-2 cups, hot, cooked | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1. In a medium bowl, mix the stock, tomato paste, soy sauce, honey, ginger, garlic, and hot -pepper sauce till well combined. Set aside till required
MAKING
2. In a large nonstick pan, place the oil and heat it gently
3. Add the rabbit to the pan and heat it till it begins to brown. This will take about five minutes
4. Add the sauce to the pan and the rabbit, partially cover and cook the rabbit till done. This will take about 20-24 minutes.
SERVING
5. Serve warm with rice
