Chinese Stir Fried Vegetable with Cashew Nuts Recipe Video

In this video I show you a quick and very healthy stir-fry. Choi-Sum is a Chinese leafy green vegetable with lots of anti-oxidants and good amounts of fibre. Low in calories and excellent source of nutrients.

Ingredients

 
Grated garlic – 2 teaspoons
 
Sesame oil
 
Olive oil
 
Roasted cashew nuts – 100 grams
 
Choi Sum – 2 bunches
 
Water
 
Salt

Directions

GETTING READY
1. Separate Chinese leafy green vegetable Choi Sum leaf and stem.

MAKING
2. Heat a wok and add some olive oil into it. Boil until smoking.
3. Stir in garlic and fry until brown.
4. Add the Choi Sum stems and mix well. Fry until cooked.
5. Next add the leaves and mix. Cook covered for 10 seconds.
6. Sprinkle some sesame oil over it.
7. Grind some fresh pepper over it and sprinkle some salt to taste.
8. Transfer the vegetables to a bowl.

SERVING
9. Serve hot, garnished with cashew nuts.
