Chinese Pork Strips Recipe

Ingredients
1 tbsp (15 ml) butter
1 egg, beaten
1 tbsp (15 ml) oil
1 lb (450 g) pork, cut into strips
2 tbsp (30 ml) green bell peppers, cut into strips
1/2 sweet red pepper, cut into strips
4 green onions, finely sliced
1/2 tsp (2 ml) grated ginger
1 package Chinese fried rice
1 Cup (250 ml) bean sprouts, drained
1 tbsp (15 ml) soy sauce
1/4 Cup (60 ml) mushrooms, sliced
1/2 tsp (2 ml) garlic powder
Directions
– In a skillet, melt butter and cook beaten egg, then let stand to cool, crumble and set aside.
– In a separate skillet, heat oil and saute pork strips, Add green and red peppers, green onions and ginger, reduce heat and cook for
5 minutes.
– Meanwhile, prepare Chinese fried rice according to package directions. Add bean sprouts, soy sauce, mushrooms and garlic powder, stir, then add crumbled egg.
– Pour mixture into a serving dish and spoon pork and vegetables over it.
