Chinese Pork Saute Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/3 cup finely chopped uncooked pork | ||
| 1 tablespoon peanut or salad oil | ||
| Water chestnuts | 1 5 Ounce, drained | |
| 1 7-ounce package frozen Chinese pea pods, thawed | ||
| Monosodium glutamate | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Chicken broth | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
In skillet, brown pork in hot oil.
Add next 3 ingredients; then add broth.
Steam, covered, over high heat about 3 minutes.
Combine cornstarch and 2 tablespoons cold water; push vegetables aside and add cornstarch mixture to broth; cook and stir till slightly thickened.
Add salt to taste.
