Chinese Meat Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
| Tomato sauce | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Brown sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vinegar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Prepared mustard | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Onion | 1 , minced | |
| Saltine crackers | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), crushed | |
| Ground meat | 2 Pound | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a saucepan, mix together tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and mustard.
Heat until sugar is dissolved.
In a mixing bowl, combine egg, onion, crackers, meat, salt and pepper.
Add 1/2 cup tomato sauce.
Mix lightly and shape into loaf in uncovered pan.
Pour remainder of sauce over meat.
Bake 1 hour, basting with sauce.
