Chinese Hot and Spicy Asparagus Salad Recipe
Ingredients
| Asparagus | 1 Pound | |
| Garlic | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
| 1 Tbsp grated ginger root | ||
| 1/2 tsp salt or herbal salt substitute | ||
| 1 packet Sweet 'n Low sweetener | ||
| Tamari soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 tsp dark sesame oil | ||
| Rice vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper flakes | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
Directions
1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat. Trim ends of asparagus and slice each stalk diagonally into 3-inch pieces. Steam until tender (6 to 10 minutes). Drain.
2. In a large bowl combine garlic, ginger root, salt, sweetener, soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, cayenne, and hot-pepper flakes. Toss with asparagus. Chill or serve warm.
