 Fryer chicken4 pound, cut into pieces
 Soy sauce1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Onion1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), crushed
 Minced ginger1 Teaspoon
 Cinnamon1/2 Teaspoon
 1/4 teaspoon each ground allspice and crushed anise seed
 Ground cloves1/8 Teaspoon
 Black pepper1 Dash

Directions

Marinate the chicken pieces in the soy sauce mixed with the onion, garlic, and ginger for 3 to 4 hours.
Drain and arrange chicken in a shallow greased baking pan.
Mix remaining ingredients, sprinkle over chicken, and bake in a 325° oven about 1 hour, or until tender, turning once.
