Chinese Fish Fillets Recipe
Ingredients
| Fish fillets -3/4 to 1 pound, such as flounder, blue, pollock, haddock | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm) | |
| Powdered ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Peanut oil | 1 1/2 Tablespoon | |
| White rice vinegar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1)Turn on broiler.
MAKING
2)Put the garlic through press and mix with ginger, oil, vinegar, and soy sauce.
3)Place fish fillets on foil in shallow pan and brush with basting-sauce mixture.
4)Allow to sit while preparing rest of meal.
SERVING:
5)Broil fish about 5 minutes, basting twice before serving.
TIPS
Fish is done when it flakes easily with fork and is no longer translucent.
