 1/4 cup fat or salt pork
 Pork1 Pound
 Veal1 Pound
 Onion1/2 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped
 Celery2 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped
 Molasses2 Tablespoon
 Soy sauce1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Salt1 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 Bean sprouts1 Can (10oz)
 Cornstarch2 Tablespoon
 Water1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Green pepper1/4 Cup (16 tbs), cut into strips
 Pineapple1/2 Cup (16 tbs), diced

Directions

Heat Skillet, add fat and fry pork and veal until golden brown.
Then add vegetables and seasonings.
Cover.
When valve clicks, reduce heat to low and simmer about 45 minutes.
Add bean sprouts.
Thicken with cornstarch and water mixture.
Add green pepper and pineapple just before serving.
Stir gently and heat thoroughly.
Serve Chop Suey with Chinese Rice.
