Chinese Chicken Noodles With Sesame Sauce Recipe
I got mixed reviews from my family for this Chinese Chicken Noodles With Sesame Sauce but I personally loved it. I never knew sesame sauce would go this well with Chinese noodles until I tried this Chinese Chicken Noodles With Sesame Sauce recipe. You will adore this!
Ingredients
8 oz (240 g) Fresh Chinese Noodles
2 tbs (30 ml) soy sauce
2 tbs (30 ml) dry sherry
1 1/2 tbs (25 ml) sesame paste or tahini
1 tbs (15 ml) sesame oil or salad oil
2 tbs (30 ml) sesame seeds
1 tbs (15 ml) peanut oil or salad oil for frying
1 cup (240 ml) Leeks, sliced or onions
1/2 cup (120 ml) Bamboo Shoots, sliced
4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless, cut into bite-size strips
1 cup (240 ml) zucchini squash, bias-sliced
Directions
Cook noodles according to package directions; drain.
Combine sauce ingredients: stir together the soy sauce, sherry, sesame paste, sesame oil and sesame seeds; set aside.
In wok, heat oil; add leeks, bamboo shoots and chicken pieces.
Stir-fry 3 minutes.
Remove from wok; add more oil if necessary.
Stir-fry zucchini for 2 minutes.
Add chicken mixture and cooked, drained noodles back to wok; pour sauce over all.
Toss mixture to coat with sauce; cover.
Cook 3 minutes or until heated through.
