Chinese Celery Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 cups celery, cut diagonally in large chunks | ||
| Water chestnuts | 1 Can (10oz), sliced | |
| Mushrooms | 1 Can (10oz), sliced | |
| Almonds | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Cream of chicken soup | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Pimento | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| Salt, pepper and red pepper | ||
| Seasoned bread crumbs | ||
Directions
Boil celery in salted water for 5 minutes.
Drain.
Place celery in greased casserole and add water chestnuts, mushrooms, almonds, butter, soup and pimento.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Mix well and top with seasoned bread crumbs.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Serves 8.
Almonds may be toasted and used as topping with bread crumbs and garlic powder.
