Ingredients

 2 tablespoons minced onion or 4 green onions, sliced
 Cooking oil3 Tablespoon
 1 1/2 pounds lean beef, cut into 1/4-inch slivers
 Soy sauce2 Tablespoon
 Sliced mushrooms2 Can (10oz), drained

Directions

Saute onion in hot oil until soft.
Add beef.
Saute for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Push meat to one side of skillet; stir in soy sauce.
Add mushrooms and saute in pan juices until tender.
Mix with meat.
Cook, covered, over moderate heat for 3 minutes longer.
