Chinese Beef Burgers Recipe
Ingredients

| Dried black mushrooms | 4 | |
| Lean ground beef | 1 pound | |
| Onion | 1/2 Small, finely chopped | |
| 1/2 small green bell pepper, seeded and diced | ||
| Water chestnuts | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Green onion | 1 , thinly sliced | |
| Soy sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 2 tablespoons oyster-flavored sauce | ||
| 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro (Chinese parsley), optional | ||
| Sesame oil | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Minced ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 teaspoons vegetable oil Hamburger buns, split and toasted or cooked rice or noodles | ||
Directions
Soak mushrooms in warm water to cover for 30 minutes; drain.
Cut off and discard stems and chop caps.
Combine mushrooms and remaining patty ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well.
Divide mixture into 4 patties, each about 4 inches in diameter.
Place a heavy skillet over high heat until hot.
Add vegetable oil, swirling to coat surface.
Add patties and cook for 3 minutes on each side for medium rare.
Serve patties in buns, or serve alongside rice or noodles.
