China Peas With Mushrooms Recipe

1 1/2 lbs. China Peas (Snow peas)
 
1 onion, sliced
 
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
 
2 tbs. salad oil
 
2 tbs. soy sauce

Directions

Wash China Peas and pull away stems.
Rinse mushrooms and, if large, cut into halves or quarters.
Drop peas into 2 cups boiling water, stir and cover.
Simmer 5 minutes, drain.
Mean while, heat oil in skillet and saute onions and mushrooms 5 minutes.
Add peas and soy sauce, stir and cook 1 minute longer.
Do not overcook peas should be slightly crisp.
