Chilled Crab Mangetout Recipe
Chillied Crab Mangetout - it is the name that caught my attention and when I prepared this dish I was glad that it had a name so catchy and a taste so juicy. Just give this yummy Chillied Crab Mangetout a try and prove to yourself.
Ingredients
| 175 g/6 oz mangetout | ||
| 200 g/7 oz/1 small can of crabmeat, drained | ||
| 15 ml/1 tbsp mayonnaise | ||
| 5 ml/1 tsp tomato puree | ||
| 1 small green chilli, seeded and finely chopped | ||
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| A few drops of lemon juice | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Plunge the mangetout into boiling water for 1 minute.
Drain, rinse with cold water and drain again.
Dry on kitchen paper (paper towels) and carefully make a slit in the side of each one to form a pocket.
Mash the remaining ingredients together and spoon into the mangetout.
Chill until ready to serve.
