Chilled Pinwheels Recipe

Ingredients
| 1 loaf close-textured bread | ||
| Creamed butter, softened cheese, or any very | ||
| Smooth spread Green-pepper strips Pimiento strips | ||
| Stuffed olives | 4 | |

Directions
Remove crusts from top and sides of bread.
With sharp knife, cut bread lengthwise in slices 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick; discard bottom crust.
Spread long slices of bread with creamed butter.
Lay alternating strips of green pepper and pimiento crosswise, 1 inch apart, over entire strip of bread; or lay olives lengthwise on one end of bread.
Beginning at one end, roll bread as for jelly roll.
Spread a little soft butter on last lap of bread to make it stick; wrap rolls in waxed paper.
Place in refrigerator to chill.
Wnen ready to serve, slice about 1/4 inch thick.
