Ingredients

 Artichokes1 14 Ounce
 Basil1/2 Teaspoon
 Salt and white pepper to taste
 Light cream1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Chopped chives1 Tablespoon, garnish

Directions

Blend artichokes, a couple at a time so as not to clog the blender.
Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
Chill thoroughly.
Top each soup cup with chopped chives before serving.
