Ingredients
Sugar - 1 c.
Lemon juice - 3 tbsp.
Vanilla - 2 tsp.
Apples - 6
Heavy cream - 1 c.
Confectioners' sugar - 1 tbsp.
Directions
MAKING
1) In a saucepan, add sugar, 1 cup water, lemon juice and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla.
2) Gently heat and cook while stirring till the sugar dissolves.
3) Allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
4) Peel and core the apples and add into the syrup.
5) Gently cook till tender.
6) Flip over once or twice in the syrup and then cool.
7) Place into a serving dish and refrigerate.
8) Beat the cream and add in the confectioners' sugar and remaining vanilla.
SERVING
9) Serve with apples.
