Chilled Upside Down Crepes Recipe
Are you looking for a Chilled Upside Down Crepes recipe similar to the one that your mom used to make? I never fail to eat Dessert while dining out and this is the most common dish that I order. Fruits is one of the few ingredients I like to include in my daily cooking and this is my comfort recipe that I usually prepare using it. This Chilled Upside Down Crepes is too good to be missed.
Ingredients
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1/2 cup sweet chocolate chips
12 crepes
1/2 cup Grand Marnier flavored syrup
1 1/2 cups strawberry ice cream, softened
2 tbsp orange peel
Directions
In a bowl, mix strawberries and chocolate chips.
Set aside.
Lay a crepe into bottom of a cake pan slightly larger than crepes.
Coat with 1 tsp (5 mL) Grand Marnier syrup.
Spread with 2 tbsp (30 mL) ice cream.
Sprinkle 1 tbsp (15 mL) strawberry and chocolate chip mixture on top.
Cover with a crepe.
Repeat until ingredients have been used.
Freeze 2-3 hours.
Remove from freezer.
Unmold onto a serving dish (if needed, dip bottom of pan 30 seconds in hot water).
Sprinkle with orange peel.
Cut into triangular wedges.
